shortfilm A hotelroom in Falkirk

A series of shortfilms was produced as part of a university challenge. Keeping track of your creativity and never not creating was the main aim for this project at the end there was like 10 one minute movies, which all had to answer a tutor given obstruction task.
Encouraged by this idea, discovering my passion for moving image, the filming process, post production and the presentation of a final result was a big part of this as well.

The story about a very long journey to a very specific moment, in the end you realise that the whole way to that destination was actually the important part.

"Der Weg ist das Ziel"

A german saying, focus on the path instead of only thinking about the end of your journey the destination.
The here and now matters - go for it. For this shortfilm my obstruction task was quite certain so i packed my three things together and bought a ticket toScotland for my very first trip by train to this very very small place so called Falkirk. I met Fred, the loevly owner of a b&b and he allowed me to film from one of his rooms to finalise my shortfilm.
