framing HOME photo series
A photo series exploring the topic of being at HOME.
“WO GEHST DU HIN WENN DU SAGST DASS DU NACH HAUSE GEHST?”
Inspired by this german quote (Where are you going when you say you go home?) this is a project shot on a selfmade pinhole camera. While exploring the self chosen theme and also reconnecting with childhood memories and thoughts, the main aspect was also the learn even more about the inner life and working of cameras.
Each photo is ‘focused’ on a little house, the floors are all visible and on each photo the little mannequins are sitting on another stage. The prototype of this house is respresenting a dollhouse from a childhood memoir. As this house already by itself represents a very important phase of life, the different floors are supposed to desribe stages of growing up and getting older, gaining more knowledge and growing up.

The first few images, blurry and not in focus (blurred memories)

Changing the exposure time and making changes while using different techniques to develop my own photos.
