belli documents: biennale 2019 observed
A short introduction and analysis of a visit to the biennale
“May we live in Interesting Times” (2019)
It’s always been, since discovering my interest of arts and design a pleasure to visit Venice for this very special time every two years. Especially that year finding so much inspiration and gratitude in the pavillions.
A year right before big things would have change in our world and no one even had any clue yet. It was October 2019 visting my mum for a weekend trip in Venice to stroll through the streets of Venice and also getting a glimpse of what the art world has been up to over the last two years.
The first time visiting the art & design festival with an analougue camera changed my perspective immensely, as the decision in my head each time was if things were worth it to photograph with my expensive film roll. Rather than previous years documenting every tiny sand corn with my iPhone camera i would suddenly start to think more about my way of seeing, my eyes and my own personal style.

Orange juice and a map of the central pavillion Giardini.

A mass of things.
